In 2016 I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in Sport and Exercise Science. I also hold a Level 5 Certificate in Fitness, along with a Boxing Skills &amp; Fitness (Sport Science of Boxing) certificate. My training focuses on strength training, muscle building, rehabilitation, and improving overall fitness. Over the years I’ve worked in gyms across New Zealand, Melbourne, and Brisbane, including boxing gyms, CrossFit gyms, strength and conditioning facilities, and commercial gyms. This experience has helped me develop a well-rounded coaching style that can be adapted to people of all ages and fitness levels. Outside the gym I’m a big sports fan and a keen runner. One of my proudest achievements was completing the Queenstown Half Marathon in 1:29:30. I’m also a Liverpool supporter, so I’m always happy to talk football. My goal as a trainer is simple: to help people feel comfortable in the gym, build confidence in their training, and create healthy habits that last long term. I am a strong believer that any form of movement can help you physically and mentally. In 2022 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology. The human mind and behaviour have always been interests of mine. Through studying this degree I learned the diversity of factors that can determine how we behave, and how this can impact our exercise. I am passionate about supporting people with their motivation, exercise adherence, and reducing their stress to help them create a healthy lifestyle. In 2023 I studied Levels 4 and 5 in Personal Training at the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness (NZIHF).
