Sherif Abdrabou

Hello! My name is Sherif and I was born in Egypt, at the age of 5 I moved to Christchurch, New Zealand and have called this place home ever since! I have always had a passion for fitness and health, whether it would be playing sports all day long or spending hours at the gym with friends.

In 2013 I finished my certificate in Personal Training at ARA then In 2016 I successfully gained my Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in Sport and Exercise Science. I have a range of specialisations whether it would be weight loss, rehabilitation. nutritional guidance, group fitness classes, functional movements and strength and conditioning.

In 2018 I lived in Melbourne for a short time and worked at one of the largest group fitness centres in Victoria. I was the head trainer for the Bootcamp, HIIT and Boxing classes! I love everything about group training as it brings people together and builds a warm gym community that everyone feels comfortable and happy to be in. I also worked at 9 rounds doing one on one boxing sessions. I do personal training and design programmes for all different needs such as weight loss, injury prevention/rehabilitation, muscle building, toning up etc.

I enjoy giving guidance and support to help people achieve their goals, I have a passion for fitness and nutrition and love sharing my knowledge with anyone who will listen. I truly believe it’s important to educate the people around you, if you can help motivate someone with a 5-10 minute conversion then I’m all for it! The more people are educated about their health the better chance they got at being their best version of themselves. Nothing makes me more excited than seeing members achieve their goals. Trust me, I’ll be just as excited as you will be!!

Everyone deserves to be feeling fantastic and confident in their own body. Not only do I care about your fitness journey and goals, but I also look forward to getting to know you as a person! I hope to one day own a gym of my own and continue to change peoples lives in the process! If you see me around feel free to say hi and ask any questions!

Meg Roberts

Hi everyone! My name is Meg, and I love everything related to health and fitness. Whether it's training in the gym, running, group fitness, or walking my dog, I have a passion for a wide range of exercise. I am a strong believer that any form of movement can help you physically and mentally.

In 2022 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology. The human mind and behaviour have always been interests of mine. Through studying this degree I learned the diversity of factors that can determine how we behave, and how this can impact our exercise. I am passionate about supporting people with their motivation, exercise adherence, and reducing their stress to help them create a healthy lifestyle.

In 2023 I studied Levels 4 and 5 in Personal Training at the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness (NZIHF). Through this course, I have learned how to programme safe and effective exercise and target specific components of fitness to suit your wants. I enjoy working with a variety of ages, no matter what life stage you’re in or experience you have.

The main aim of my career in the fitness industry is to help everyone who enters the gym feel comfortable and confident. Whether you just want to get yourself moving to improve your health, or you have goals that are specific to weight loss, sports performance, strength, or muscle building, I am here to help.

Rebecca Bendre

I’m a personal trainer, a cellist and music teacher based in Christchurch NZ. I used to be a Zumba Fitness instructor during my university studies, which helped me develop more confidence both as a musician and as a teacher. Later I got into weightlifting and when I wasn’t practising my cello or teaching, I would be in the gym and becoming stronger helped me so much in my daily life. In 2019 I had major abdominal surgery and it was thanks to my strength training and healthy eating which helped me recover fully. Knowing first-hand the powerful effects of improving one’s strength and endurance inspired me to become a personal trainer, and share my enthusiasm for fitness with those who are embarking on their health and fitness journey,

As a busy working mum, I understand the unique challenges of balancing family, work, and personal health. I’ve been there, juggling it all, and I know that finding time for exercise can seem like a daunting task. However, my personal journey has taught me the value of efficient workouts that can be seamlessly integrated into a hectic schedule.

I specialise in creating time-efficient fitness plans that cater to the demands of a busy lifestyle. I’ll work with you to develop a customised exercise routine that maximises your results in minimal time. Whether it’s quick, high-intensity workouts or practical strategies to stay active throughout the day, I’m here to ensure that you can prioritise your health and well-being without compromising your family or career commitments.

My goal is to empower you to achieve your fitness goals, even with a packed schedule. Together, we’ll find practical solutions that fit your life, so you can experience the same positive transformations that I did on my fitness journey.
